Fushi Copperweld's COO, Chris Finley, resigns

NEW YORK - Fushi Copperweld Inc. said Wednesday that Chris Finley has resigned as chief operating officer, ending a seven-month tenure with the wire manufacturer.

The company did not give an effective date for the resignation or state why Finley, who began working at Fushi Copperweld in October, resigned.

Finley's duties will be assumed by several managers.

Shares fell $1.52, or 7 percent, to $20.36 in afternoon trading.
