NEW YORK - Standard & Poor's said Wednesday it named Martin Goldberg senior director in the ratings agency's quantitative analytics research group, heading up a new independent model quality review group.
Goldberg was previously held of Citigroup Inc.'s model validation group, overseeing a staff of quantitative analysts testing models used to vet trading strategies.
Before that he was vice president of market risk management at Chase Manhattan Bank, and worked at American International Group, Manufacturers Hanover, Bank of New York and Metropolitan Life.
