IRVING, Texas - The Alamo Regional Mobility Authority board has authorized its staff to start final negotiations with Fluor Corp. for San Antonio toll road construction project through its joint venture, expected to be about $330 million, Flour said Friday.

The engineering and construction company said it expects to book its 55 percent, or $181.5 million, stake in the third quarter when the negotiations are complete and financing is in place.
Under the deal's terms, the joint venture will design and build about eight miles of US 281, create new toll express lanes and relocate some non-toll lanes.
Flour owns 55 percent of the joint venture, Cibolo Creek Infrastructure. Balfour Beatty Infrastructure Inc. owns 45 percent.
