Under the terms of the deal, PowerSecure will provide on-site power generation systems for new stores established by the retailer between 2009 and 2011. The customer, which was not named, has also agreed to extend an existing power monitoring agreement until 2011.

PowerSecure expects the deal to generate about $10 million in sales per year.

PowerSecure shares rose 4 cents to $10.30 in after-hours trading, after closing down 3 cents at $10.26 in the regular session.
