Advance Auto Parts executive buys 55,000 shares

NEW YORK - The executive vice president, supply chain and information technology, of auto-parts retailer Advance Auto Parts Inc., bought 55,000 shares of stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Wednesday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Kevin P. Freeland reported he bought the shares for $38.01 to $38.33 apiece on Friday.
