Rock-Tenn director exercises options, sells shares

NEW YORK - A director of paperboard packaging maker Rock-Tenn Co. exercised options for 31,105 shares of common stock, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Russell M. Currey reported exercising the options Tuesday and Wednesday for $11.23 to $15.40 apiece and selling all the shares the same days for $35.10 to $35.67 apiece.

Insiders file Form 4s with the SEC to report transactions in their companies' shares. Open market purchases and sales must be reported within two business days of the transaction.

Rock-Tenn is based in Norcross, Ga.
