LAFAYETTE, La. - LHC Group Inc., which provides post-acute health care services, said Monday it began two joint ventures to provide home-health services.

The first joint venture is with Jefferson Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Pine Bluff, Ark. LHC also entered into a join venture with Community Medical Center of Izard County, a critical-access hospital in Calico Rock, Ark., for home-health and hospice services.
Financial terms were undisclosed. LHC expects revenue from both ventures will be $3 million. The deals are not expected to add materially to earnings in 2008.
Separately, LHC said it closed an acquisition of Home Care Solutions, a health care provider with locations in Tennessee and Virginia.
