NEW YORK - Shares of aerospace and defense companies sank Tuesday, led by Goodrich Corp., as the sector fell with the broader market.
After making modest gains early in the session, major indexes turned lower in the afternoon and the Nasdaq composite index lost 11 points.
Key results for aerospace and defense stocks included:
Goodrich lost $4.24, or 6.7 percent, to $59.50.
General Dynamics Corp. fell $1.50 to $89.83.
Honeywell International Inc. declined $1.17, or 2 percent, to $57.14.
Boeing Co. fell $3.03, or 3.7 percent, to $78.12.
