NEW YORK - Major media companies' shares finished mixed on Tuesday as the broader market fell on reports that Lehman Brothers Holdings was planning to raise cash. The report, which was published by the Wall Street Journal, revived fears that the financial sector remains vulnerable as a result of the credit crisis.
How shares of some major media companies performed on Tuesday:
Time Warner Inc. rose 19 cents to $15.80.
Walt Disney Co. fell 12 cents to $33.18.
McGraw-Hill Companies Inc. rose 38 cents to $41.20.
New York Times Co. rose 13 cents to $17.23.
News Corp. fell 17 cents to $18.27.

The New York City will give 500 tickets for the ceremony on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. EST.
