SAP America Inc. also lobbied on financial management, government contracting matters, audit and oversight, and other issues, according to the report filed April 21 with the House clerk's office.

The company spent more than $4.3 million lobbying the U.S. federal government last year.

In the January-to-March period, SAP lobbied Congress, the General Services Administration, the White House budget office and the departments of Agriculture, Defense, Homeland Security and Veterans Affairs.

Robert Stien, former counsel to Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., and David Myers, former military legislative assistant to Sen. Pete Domenici, R-N.M., are among those registered to lobby for SAP.
