American Tower CFO resigns, moves to new company

BOSTON - American Tower Corp., which owns wireless communication towers, said Wednesday Chief Financial Officer Brad Singer is leaving company to take a position elsewhere.

Singer, who has been with American Tower since 2000, will become CFO at Discover Communications LLC.

Jean Bua, the executive vice president of finance and corporate controller at American Tower, will assume the CFO responsibilities on an interim basis. Meanwhile, the company will begin searching for a permanent replacement.

Shares of American Tower fell $1.06, or 2.5 percent, to close at $42.23 during the regular trading session.
