NEW YORK - Standard & Poor's Ratings Services said Thursday that it revised its outlook on RiskMetrics Group Holdings LLC to "positive" from "stable," citing positive operating trends and improved debt leverage.

S&P also said it affirmed ratings it holds for the company, which provides risk-management and corporate-governance services for the financial markets, including a "B+" corporate credit rating.
RiskMetrics shares rose 87 cents, or 4.6 percent, to $19.99.
