Harman says German patent court rules in its favor

NEW YORK - Harman International Industries Inc. said the German patent court ruled in its favor in a dispute with engineering conglomerate Siemens AG.

The German Federal Patent Court "revoked all patent claims asserted by Siemens," Harman said in a statement Friday.

Siemens had claimed Harman Becker Automotive Systems products infringed one of its European patents.

The products are "infotainment" devices that use the wireless Bluetooth technology.
