The first order, which is set to be delivered in February 2009, is valued at about $48 million.
Alliant Techsystems also said it received a contract to continue production of another 120mm tank ammunition, worth about $44 million.
The company also received a $5 million order to produce a 105mm training round used by a mobile gun vehicle. If all production options are exercised, the total value of the contracts could exceed $300 million.
