NATICK, Mass. - Cognex Corp., which makes machine vision systems, sensors, and identification readers used in manufacturing, on Monday named Robert Willett president of the company's modular vision systems division.
The unit is Cognex's largest and generates about 90 percent of the company's annual revenue.
Willett previously worked as a vice president of business development at Danaher Corp., which makes industrial controls and technology.
Shares of Cognex fell 22 cents to close at $26.92. In aftermarket electronic trading, shares gained 26 cents to $27.18.
