NEW YORK - Bermuda-based diversified manufacturer Ingersoll-Rand Co. said Monday it named Steven B. Hochhauser the president of its security technologies sector.

Hochhauser, 47, succeeds Michael W. Lamach, who was named president of Trane Commercial Systems following Ingersoll's acquisition of Trane Inc.
Hochhauser most recently served as chairman, president and chief executive of engineered materials manufacturer Johns Manville Corp.
