NEW YORK - Aerospace and defense stocks fell Tuesday as concerns about the effects of energy prices knocked the market for a loss.
On Tuesday, the U.S. Labor Department reported that its index of producer prices rose 1.4 percent in May--the biggest gain since November--largely due to rising energy costs.
Shares of Goodrich Corp. and Rockwell Collins Inc. hit 52-week lows.
Here is a look at how some key aerospace and defense stocks fared:
Goodrich fell $1.89, or 3.5 percent, to $52.10.
Honeywell International Inc. fell $1.12, or 2 percent, to $55.06.
Northrop Grumman Corp. fell $1.31 to $71.09.
Rockwell Collins fell $1.96, or 3.6 percent, to $52.02.
