NEW YORK - Household durables stocks fell Tuesday morning after the Labor Department said wholesale prices jumped in May.
The department's Producer Price Index, which measures the costs of goods before they reach store shelves, shot up 1.4 percent last month.
Here's how some stocks of household durables companies are trading:
Black & Decker Corp., down 33 cents to $59.87.
Whirlpool Corp., down $1.51, or 2.2 percent, to $66.91.
Snap-on Inc., down 56 cents to $57.74.
Stanley Works, down 70 cents to $47.20.
