Dover President, CEO Ronald Hoffman to retire

NEW YORK - Industrial equipment maker Dover Corp. said Thursday Ronald L. Hoffman will retire as president and chief executive as soon as the company's board identifies a successor.

Dover named long-time company veteran Robert A. Livingston, 54, as president and chief operating officer, effective July 1.

Livingston currently serves as a vice president of Dover and the chief executive of its engineered systems segment.
