NEW YORK - Shares of construction and engineering companies closed higher Tuesday, while the broader markets were mixed, as investors focused on an increase in oil prices and awaited Tuesday's Federal Reserve meeting.
Here's how some shares of construction and engineering companies fared:
Shaw Group Inc., up $2.64, or 4.1 percent, to $66.47.
Pike Electric Corp., up 24 cents to $17.12.
Fluor Corp., up $5.72, or 3 percent, to $197.27, after earlier hitting an all-time high of $202.73.
KBR Inc., up 27 cents to $36.26.
