NEW YORK - Harmonic Inc., which provides broadcast and on-demand video delivery systems, named director Lewis Solomon as chairman.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company said former chairman, Anthony J. Ley, will continue to serve as a director.
