The National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts lobbied on legislation that would make tax law changes backed by the industry, according to an amended filing posted June 2 by the House clerk's office.

The trade group--whose members include ProLogis, Boston Properties Inc. and AvalonBay Communities Inc.--also lobbied on insurance, labor and intellectual property legislation.

Besides lawmakers, NAREIT lobbied the Treasury Department.
