CTC Media names new chief executive

NEW YORK - CTC Media Inc., a Russian independent media company, said Tuesday its Chief Executive Alexander Rodnyansky will relinquish his title, effective Aug. 4.

Rodnyansky, who joined the company in 2002 and became CEO in 2004, will retain his position as president and will join the company's board of directors.

Anton Kudryashov, 40, will replace him. Kudryashov was the chairman of the board of Afisha Publishing House until 2005.
