NEW YORK - Media network operator AirMedia Group Inc. increased its second-quarter revenue guidance Wednesday, citing stronger-than-expected results from its digital frame business, as well as other ventures, sending shares sharply higher.

The Beijing-based company, which runs digital TV screens in airports, now expects second-quarter revenue between $29 million and $30 million, up from its earlier guidance of $26 million to $28 million.
During the second quarter, the company expanded its digital frame network to another 16 major airports
Shares rose $1.33, or 9.9 percent, to $14.80 in morning trading.
