JONESBORO, Ark. - A Virginia-based company said it will build a call center in Jonesboro, Ark., creating 120 jobs.
It's the second Arkansas venture announced this month by N.E.W. Customer Service Companies Inc.
The Jonesboro center will provide customer service and troubleshooting to customers of DirecTV Group Inc. N.E.W. says the jobs will pay $9 per hour.
The Sterling, Va.-based call center company in early June announced plans for a call center in Russellville, Ark. that will create 250 jobs. It said that center would field consumer calls from client Wal-Mart Stores Inc. and its subsidiary Sam's Club.
