NEW YORK - Aerospace and defense stocks were mixed in Friday afternoon trading as the broader markets fell to close out a rocky week.

A day after losing more than 350 points, the Dow Jones industrial average fell 104.46 points as the price of again oil rose to record highs, and investors worried about the financial sector and broader economic issues.

Here are the results for a few key stocks in the sector:

Northrop Grumman Corp. rose 61 cents to $67.14, after earlier hitting an 18 month low of $66.43.

Precision Castparts Corp. fell $1.37, to $99.05.

United Technologies Corp. dropped $1.64, or 2.6 percent, to $61.15, after setting an annual low of $61.05.

Lockheed Martin Corp. picked up 12 cents to $99.62.
