Earnings roundup: Constellation, MSC Industrial

FAIRPORT, N.Y. (AP)--Constellation Brands Inc. said Tuesday its fiscal first-quarter profit jumped 50 percent, lifted by price increases as well as strong sales of new higher-margin wine brands such as Clos du Bois and Wild Horse.

MELVILLE, N.Y. (AP)--MSC Industrial Direct Co.'s fiscal third-quarter earnings climbed 12 percent as revenue increased while costs only edged higher, the distributor of replacement parts to industrial customers said Tuesday.
