NEW YORK - Shares of insurers mostly rose Tuesday morning even as the broader market declined amid continued worry about how rising oil prices will affect the economy.

Late Monday, Cincinnati Financial Corp.'s ratings were cut by Standard & Poor's.

Here's a look at how some insurers fared early Tuesday:

Cincinnati Financial rose 7 cents to $25.47. Earlier in the session, shares hit a 52-week low of $24.52.

Travelers Cos. rose 79 cents to $44.19.

MBIA Inc. rose 11 cents to $4.50.

MGIC Investment Corp. rose 45 cents to $6.56.
