NEW YORK - Shares of pharmaceutical companies were mixed in early trading Tuesday as the broader market declined as investors worried about the impact of rising oil prices on consumer spending.
How some key drug makers performed early Tuesday:
Schering-Plough Corp., down 29 cents to $19.40.
Merck & Co., added 47 cents to $38.16.
Pfizer Inc., edged up 14 cents to $17.61.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., rose 22 cents to $20.75.
