NEW YORK - Health care equipment and supply stocks rose early Wednesday as Wall Street opened mixed after a Commerce Department report that factory orders rose as expected in May.
How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies fared shortly after the opening bell:
Varian Medical Systems Inc. gained 20 cents to $50.98.
Covidien Ltd. lost 14 cents to $48.38.
Stryker Corp. rose 76 cents to $63.23.
Baxter International Inc. fell 4 cents to $64.21.
