NEW YORK - Shares of pharmaceutical companies were mostly higher in early trading Wednesday as the broader market advanced ahead of a Commerce Department report on factory orders.
How some key drug makers performed early Wednesday:
Eli Lilly & Co. gained 12 cents to $46.22.
Merck & Co., added 19 cents to $38.55.
Pfizer Inc., slipped 6 cents to $17.67.
Bristol-Myers Squibb Co., rose 19 cents to $20.71.
