NEW YORK - Shares of the largest telecommunications companies traded mostly higher Wednesday morning after a government report showed that factory orders grew as expected in May.
How some key telecom stocks performed Wednesday morning:
Verizon Communications Inc. rose 35 cents to $35.88.
AT&T Inc. fell a penny to $33.29.
Sprint Nextel Corp. rose 15 cents to $8.98.
Qwest Communications International Inc. fell 2 cents to $3.85.
