NEW YORK - Health care equipment and supply stocks mostly rose early Monday, in line with the broader market, as investors found some relief in falling oil prices.
How shares of some major health care equipment and supply companies fared shortly after the opening bell:
Covidien Ltd. added 3 cents to $47.92.
Stryker Corp. gained 15 cents to $62.65.
Baxter International Inc. rose 23 cents to $64.35.
Bucking the trend, Varian Medical Systems Inc. lost 5 cents to $50.82.
