NEW YORK - Health care stocks traded higher Monday morning, rising with the broader markets as the price of oil declined and the dollar gained strength against other currencies.

Health insurer WellCare Health Plans Inc. picked up 86 cents, or 2.4 percent, to $37.25.

Health care products and services company Cardinal Health Inc. rose 26 cents to $50.90.

Pharmacy benefits manager Medco Health Solutions Inc. edged up 27 cents to $46.59.

On the down side, hospital operator Tenet Healthcare Corp. lost 8 cents to $5.50.
