NEW YORK - Shares of construction and engineering companies started higher alongside the broader market as oil prices dipped and the dollar gained ground.
Crude declined more than $5 to under $141 a barrel on the New York Mercantile exchange.

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., up 17 cents to $78.45.
Quanta Services Inc., up 36 cents to $30.89.
Foster Wheeler Ltd., up $1.50 to $66.73.
