United Technologies unit gets $19.7M Navy pact

WASHINGTON - A division of United Technologies Corp. received a 15-month contract extension worth up to $19.7 million from the Navy for repairs on several items in the J-52 engine, the Pentagon said late Thursday.

United Technologies' Pratt & Whitney Aircraft Group will make repairs on the engine that is being used to power the EA-6B aircraft.

Shares of Hartford, Conn.-based United Technologies added 67 cents to $61.72 in morning trading Monday.
