Lockheed Martin gets $1.2B TSA contract

ROCKVILLE, Md. - Lockheed Martin Corp., the world's largest defense supplier, said Tuesday it received a $1.2 billion contract from the Transportation Security Administration to manage its human resources program.

Under the potential eight-year contract, Lockheed Martin said it will develop a human resources system that will be used to hire and manage all TSA employees.

Lockheed Martin shares rose $1.49 to $104.11 in late morning trading.
