WALTHAM, Mass. - Unica Corp., which makes marketing-management software, said Tuesday its chief financial officer will resign, effective Aug. 15.

Ralph Goldwasser will leave to pursue other opportunities, the company said.
Unica, based in Waltham, Mass., has begun a search for his replacement.
The company also said it expects third-quarter revenue at or above the high end of its guidance of $30 million to $31 million. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial predict revenue of $30.3 million.
Shares fell 18 cents, or 2.2 percent, to $7.80 aftermarket electronic trading. The stock earlier rose 41 cents, or 5.4 percent, to end regular trading at $7.98. Shares have ranged from $6.15 to $15.87 over the past year.
