Alcoa Inc., down 79 cents at $31.54

The world's third-largest aluminum producer posted a 24 percent drop in quarterly profit, but results still topped expectations.

Sealy Corp., down 57 cents at $6.07

Higher material costs and lower domestic sales volumes caused the mattress maker to record a 26 percent drop in quarterly profit.

Cleveland-Cliffs Inc., up $13.84 at $105.78

The miner raised its outlook for iron sales because of higher steel prices and recent iron ore price settlements.

MBIA Inc., down 61 cents at $4.15

The bond insurer said its insurance subsidiary received approval to pay interest on surplus notes it issued earlier in the year.
