NEW YORK - Shares of machinery companies fluctuated in morning trading, as the market largely fell on a rebound in oil prices.
Light, sweet crude for August delivery rose $1.44 to $137.48 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. The contract on Tuesday fell $5.33 to settle at $136.04 a barrel.
Here's how some machinery stocks fared in morning trading:
Manitowoc Co. fell 16 cents to $27.34.
Terex Corp. fell 71 cents to $46.25.
Cummins Inc. rose 62 cents to $66.35.
Caterpillar Inc. rose 50 cents to $70.01.
Deere & Co. fell 26 cents to $66.70.
