CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (AP)--Aviation and defense contractor Rockwell Collins Inc. said Friday its fiscal third-quarter earnings rose 19 percent, as higher sales of its aerospace electronic systems were helped by improving margins across its commercial and government businesses.

NEW YORK (AP)--Information technology provider Infosys Technologies said Friday its fiscal first-quarter profit rose 16 percent as its customer base grew.
