Carnival declares dividend of 40 cents

MIAMI - Cruise ship operator Carnival Corp. said Monday it declared a regular quarterly dividend of 40 cents.

The company, which owns brands including Carnival Cruise Lines and Princess Cruises, will pay the dividend Sept. 12 to shareholders of record on Aug. 22.
