A release by the state Department of Commerce Tuesday said the $11 million investment includes the addition of assembly and machining capacity. The company opened the plant in July 2006.
Cummins Turbo Technologies president Jim Lyons said the expansion is a reflection of the company's hard work. He said it's part of a continued effort to invest people and equipment in the facility.
The plant already produces turbochargers for heavy-duty engines. Cummins Turbo Technologies has seven manufacturing locations worldwide.
