SAN ANTONIO - Two of the largest radio station operators have agreed to a syndication deal for conservative talk show host Sean Hannity.
In a joint statement Monday, Citadel Broadcasting Corp. and Clear Channel Radio said they will syndicate Hannity's program starting Dec. 28. Clear Channel's Premier will handle all advertising sales for the show.
Hannity, who also works on News Corp.'s Fox News Channel, is currently distributed by Citadel's ABC Radio Network.
Under the new deal, Citadel stations in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and other major markets will continue to carry Hannity's show. Clear Channel stations in markets such as Houston, Cincinnati and Phoenix will air the show.
Hannity gets the second-highest ratings for talk shows behind Rush Limbaugh.
Financial terms of the new deal were not disclosed.
