Raytheon gets $7M thermal sight deal from Army

WASHINGTON - Raytheon Co. has been awarded a $7 million contract for work on thermal sight systems, replaceable units and spares, according to a Defense Department notice posted late Monday.

The contract, awarded Friday by the Army, will run through 2009. Work will be done in McKinney, Texas.

Shares of Waltham, Mass.-based Raytheon rose 92 cents to $57.09 Monday.
