Computer Sciences gets $33 million bank IT pact

FALLS CHURCH, Va. - Computer Sciences Corp. said Tuesday that it extended its information technology services contract with Swiss bank Zuger Kantonalbank for seven years, under a $33 million contract.

The agreement was an early renewal of an eight-year contract signed in 2002.

Computer Sciences will provide development, maintenance and support for the bank's applications based on SAP software, including operating and managing the banking platform and making it work more easily and efficiently.

The Falls Church, Va.-based company serves about 5,500 financial services clients worldwide.
