NEW YORK - What do you get when you link performers from such popular television shows as "Entourage" and "Mad Men" with an actor from last season's Broadway revival of "The Homecoming"?
The cast of the 20th-anniversary Broadway production of David Mamet's "Speed-The-Plow," opening in October.
Mamet's darkly comic look at the Hollywood film industry will star Jeremy Piven of HBO's "Entourage," Raul Esparza from "The Homecoming," and Elisabeth Moss, from AMC's TV series "Mad Men," in a role first played 20 years ago by Madonna. The original also featured Joe Montegna and Ron Silver.
The revival, directed by Neil Pepe, opens Oct. 26 at the Belasco Theatre. Preview performances begin Oct. 3.
