SAN FRANCISCO. - Prescription drug distributor McKesson Corp. raised its full-year profit outlook Wednesday after topping Wall Street's first-quarter forecast.

The company now expects profit between $4 and $4.15 per share, up from prior guidance between $3.75 and $3.90 per share. Analysts polled by Thomson Financial expect fiscal 2009 profit of $3.83 per share.
Shares of McKesson fell $2.10, or 3.6 percent, to $56.75 in after-hours trading, after rising $2.93, or 5.2 percent, to close the regular session at $58.85.
