HOUSTON - Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc. declared a special and regular dividend Thursday.

The company, a provider of contract drilling services for energy businesses, will pay a $1.25 special cash dividend and a regular quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents on September 1 to shareholders of record on August 1.
