Thomson Financial News - "The latest data suggest that exports, which have led the recovery of the Japanese economy in recent years, have peaked and may be entering a downtrend due to weak exports to the United States, the European Union and some other countries which are not rich in resources. As rising inflation is eating into the purchasing power of non-resource-rich nations, exports are likely to continue to dwindle for the time being."
